Translate text, play word games, and explore more tools

Gizoogle launched in 2009 as a gangster slang translator and has grown into a small collection of free text tools. Whether you want to convert a message into gangsta talk, remix a caption as a pirate, swap words for emoji, or play slang-based word games, everything runs in the browser and works the same on phone, tablet, and desktop.

Four things live on this site. The tool at the top of this page handles short text. The website translator handles whole pages. The search translator handles lookups. And the games hub is where the slang vocabulary turns into puzzles.

Quick start

How to use the Gizoogle translator

Three slang styles

Gangsta vs Pirate vs Emoji: what each style does

All three styles take the same input and rewrite recognised words using their own dictionary, so the same sentence comes out three very different ways. Words the dictionary does not know are left alone, which is why short, everyday sentences give the funniest results.

Gangsta slang

The classic Gizoogle voice. Everyday words get swapped for street slang — friend becomes homie, money becomes benjamins, house becomes crib. Best for social bios, captions, and group-chat jokes.

You type: Hello friend, this party is awesome.
You get: Yo homie, this jam is dope.

Pirate talk

The same idea with a nautical dictionary — hello becomes ahoy, friend becomes matey, money becomes doubloons. Good for birthday messages, party invites, and Talk Like a Pirate Day.

You type: Hello friend, yes the money is here.
You get: Ahoy matey, aye the doubloons is here.

Emoji text

Instead of slang, recognised words are replaced with a matching emoji — party becomes 🎉, money becomes 💰, coffee becomes ☕. Useful for short status lines and playful notifications.

You type: Hello friend, party time.
You get: 👋 🤗, 🎉 ⏰.

Not sure which one fits? Translate once, then use the style buttons that appear under the result to re-run the same text in the other two without retyping it. If your text is longer than a few paragraphs, the website translator is the better tool.
